Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations using standardized assessment tools to evaluate residents' mobility, strength, balance, and functional capabilities.

• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced assistive devices to optimize physical performance and functional independence.
• Administer pain management techniques and develop strategies to prevent falls, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
• Continuously monitor, document, and analyze residents' progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate residents and their families about rehabilitation exercises, self-care techniques, and home modifications to support ongoing recovery and independence.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care planning, share insights, and coordinate care with nursing staff and physicians.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
