Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery results.
• Educate patients on effective therapeutic exercise techniques for rehabilitation and prevention of re-injury.
• Utilize hands-on techniques, such as massage and mobilization, to enhance healing processes.
• Assist patients with rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they receive safe and effective support.
• Document patient progress, establish clear goals, and communicate updates within a multidisciplinary team to optimize care.
• Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and preventative exercises to maintain therapeutic gains.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a broad spectrum of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations. Each therapist will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of diagnoses, enhancing their experience and skills in delivering tailored therapies to meet individual needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Current state licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
• A flexible and agile mindset to adapt to various patient needs and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience
