Work Environment

This position is based in an onsite care setting, allowing for direct, hands-on interaction with our patients. Operating in a collaborative and supportive environment, you will work alongside two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a facility designed for sports medicine and rehabilitation. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technology to support high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and meet patient objectives and requirements in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
  • Maintain a manageable patient load, typically handling one patient per hour, ensuring quality and focused care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Administer evidence-based interventions and motivational support to help patients improve their functional capabilities.
  • Regularly assess treatment outcomes, tracking patient progress, and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Thoroughly document patient care activities and treatment outcomes to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care and optimize treatment effectiveness.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle through education and progressive rehabilitation focusing on strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Encourage patients to actively participate in their recovery, fostering a supportive and motivational environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. We cater to a diverse client population, emphasizing the importance of personalized care to meet the unique needs of each individual. Your role will significantly contribute to improving their quality of life and functional performance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
  • Proficient in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ideally WebPT, for patient documentation and management.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient practice, with a strong understanding of rehabilitation best practices.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in designing effective exercise regimes that enhance patient recovery.
  • Experience engaging with a wide range of patients, including those requiring specialized orthopedic care.
Compensation and Benefits
