Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patients' medical histories and performing physical assessments to understand individual needs.
• Engage in comprehensive consultations with patients to discuss their physical conditions, symptoms, and goals for recovery.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions effectively and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances and rehabilitation objectives.
• Implement and educate patients on therapeutic exercise techniques to aid in recovery, ensuring proper form and effectiveness.
• Provide manual therapies such as massage or myofascial release to promote healing and diminish pain.
• Assist patients in the safe and effective use of mobility aids, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance independence.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Advise patients and their families on home exercise programs and treatment options that will support continued health post-discharge.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring they have access to pertinent information to evaluate and support patients effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including post-operative patients, individuals with chronic conditions, and sports injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
