With a team of skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), we pride ourselves on delivering personalized, evidence-based care that empowers our patients to achieve their health goals.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our fully equipped sports medicine facility, where you will collaborate in a supportive environment dedicated to fostering professional growth and patient success. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life commitment. You will directly engage with patients in a hands-on approach that promotes healing and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and requirements in a healthcare context, ensuring tailored care plans that address specific needs.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, while providing high-quality service and minimizing wait times.
• Design and implement comprehensive care strategies using a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Deliver cost-effective solutions that promote independence from medications and avoid surgical interventions whenever possible.
• Encourage patient motivation and engagement, fostering a positive therapeutic relationship that maximizes rehabilitation outcomes.
• Document all care provided meticulously, maintaining thorough and accurate records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Regularly track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and share insights that can enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients seeking rehabilitation for post-surgical recovery, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patients are diverse, ranging from active professionals to retired individuals, all with the shared goal of regaining strength, mobility, and function. Your role will significantly influence their journey towards health and increased quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with an unblemished record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and possess adaptability to various therapeutic methodologies.
• Experience in developing, implementing, and leading effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, particularly WebPT, to manage documentation and patient records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, allowing for a deeper understanding of the specific challenges and needs of this patient population.
• Demonstrated success in implementing innovative practices that enhance patient outcomes and streamline therapeutic processes.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and commitment, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
