Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Muskegon facility, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology. Our supportive team environment encourages collaboration among physical therapists, orthopedic physicians, and allied health professionals. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, in a setting that values both independence and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and employ manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
  • Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to achieve the best rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Educate patients regarding injury prevention, proper movement mechanics, and home exercise protocols.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and medical staff to ensure coordinated care and optimal results.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying current on industry advancements and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic procedures, those suffering from sports injuries, and patients with chronic pain. Building strong communication and rapport will be essential in fostering trust and ensuring effective rehabilitation, as you work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • Current physical therapy license in the state of Michigan.
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
