Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Brighter Future Physical Therapy, you will:
- Consult with patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms, conducting thorough assessments to inform treatment plans.
- Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop customized treatment strategies to address each patient's unique needs.
- Instruct patients on proper therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand the methods to promote healing and rehabilitation.
- Use manual techniques, such as massage and stimulation, to enhance recovery and alleviate pain.
- Assist patients in effectively using rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress towards treatment goals.
- Provide education to patients and their families about in-home care options and exercises that can further aid recovery.

QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in word processing and computerized patient management systems.
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust treatment plans as needed and remain patient-focused.
