Key Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of each patient's needs, limitations, and goals.

• Conduct regular progress evaluations and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, recovery strategies, and the importance of continuous rehabilitation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings to collaborate on patient treatment strategies, sharing insights and updates regarding progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring continuity of care across multiple disciplines.
• Lead in-services and training sessions for facility staff on rehabilitation processes and best practices to foster an understanding and appreciation of therapy services.
• Stay informed about the latest in therapy advancements and continue to grow professionally through ongoing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries such as total hip and knee replacements, fracture repairs, and those experiencing mobility challenges due to chronic pain or degenerative conditions. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the recovery journey of a diverse patient population, focusing on their functional restoration and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and unrestricted Physical Therapy (PT) license in the state of Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in engaging patients and families effectively.
• A commitment to ethical practice, professional growth, and patient safety.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance for potential off-site patient visits.

Compensation and Benefits
