Work Environment

You will work in a friendly and supportive atmosphere surrounded by other healthcare professionals who prioritize patient care. The physical therapy clinic operates onsite and offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. We maintain a patient-focused approach, allowing ample time for personalized interactions, with a commitment to treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize and evaluate the goals and needs of each patient.
  • Develop individualized care plans that incorporate a spectrum of treatment techniques and modalities.
  • Administer evidence-based interventions to optimize recovery and develop fitness and wellness programs that cater to patient-specific goals.
  • Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a proactive attitude toward recovery.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary and ensuring a clear line of communication with clients.
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT for effective documentation of treatment summaries, progress notes, and appointment scheduling.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure cohesive patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic conditions that limit movement and functionality. Patients range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors seeking to enhance mobility and independence. Your role will be essential in guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing non-surgical alternatives and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Current active license as a Physical Therapist in Washington State, without any board actions or disciplinary issues.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of orthopedic conditions.
  • Ability to develop effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate records and streamline patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating a successful track record in patient rehabilitation.
  • Experience in developing and implementing specialized treatment plans for a varied patient demographic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
