Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from various injuries, diseases, or surgeries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques including exercises, stretches, hands-on therapy, and the use of assistive equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, including how to utilize assistive devices effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy by attending workshops, engaging in continued education, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve caring for a diverse array of patients, including children recovering from sports injuries, adults rehabilitating after surgeries, and elderly patients improving mobility and strength. The focus on outpatient care allows for building solid relationships with patients and understanding their unique circumstances, which will further enhance their recovery experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules.

Preferred Experience
