Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate the functional capacities of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions.
• Design and implement effective individualized rehabilitation plans that align with patient-specific goals and recovery timelines.
• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, tailored to enhance patient mobility and strength.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, utilizing evidence-based metrics to adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient interactions using EMR systems, with a preference for WebPT, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions that affect mobility. You will collaborate closely with each patient's interdisciplinary care team, setting recovery milestones and ensuring all aspects of their treatment are aligned. Your approach will focus on enhancing mobility, managing pain, and rebuilding strength through tailored therapy protocols.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits
