Work EnvironmentYour role will be based at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Carteret, New Jersey, where you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The facility is designed with patient comfort and recovery in mind, equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies. You will work Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour weekly shift, in a dynamic environment that emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement in patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist at Lakeland Care Solutions, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish a baseline for rehabilitation.
- Designing and implementing tailored treatment programs to address the specific needs of diverse patient populations.
- Employing a range of therapeutic methods and evidence-based techniques to promote healing and recovery, ensuring adherence to established care plans.
- Fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for patients through active communication and feedback.

Your expertise will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric clients, neurologic conditions, and sports-related traumas. Each case presents its unique challenges, providing you the opportunity to apply your skills in a variety of specialty areas, ultimately leading to improved patient health outcomes.
QualificationsTo thrive in this role, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA- or CAPTE-accredited program.
- A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate treatment plans effectively.
- Proficiency in word processing and computer systems to document patient progress and contribute to electronic health records.
- The ability to nurture strong therapeutic relationships with patients, fostering a supportive and motivating atmosphere.
- A proven commitment to engaging with the community and promoting wellness beyond the clinic setting.
While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and current CPR certification will be favored. Experience in a rehabilitation setting with diverse patient populations will enhance your application.
