Work Environment

This full-time position is set within an onsite rehabilitation center that fosters a collaborative and nurturing atmosphere. You will work Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a predictable routine that encourages a robust work-life balance. Our center aims to create a warm and welcoming space where patients feel motivated and empowered during their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs, establish objectives, and create individualized treatment plans
• Manage a patient load averaging one individual per hour, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and functional abilities
• Design and implement tailored exercise and wellness programs, focusing on specific patient challenges and goals
• Advance the use of non-surgical treatment alternatives while minimizing reliance on medications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and refine treatment plans
• Document all patient interactions and progress clearly in electronic medical records (EMR) system, adhering to regulatory standards
• Encourage patient motivation, providing guidance and support throughout their rehabilitation journey
• Perform regular assessments to track patient progress, ensuring treatments align with established goals
• Promote and foster a holistic approach to rehabilitation, improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population varies widely, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. We are committed to providing comprehensive physical therapy services that address the unique needs of each patient, guiding them to regain independence and function in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, a Master's (MPT), or Doctorate (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems, preferably WebPT

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, successfully managing diverse patient scenarios
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care
• Experience with evidence-based practices, proactively incorporating new techniques and therapies into your treatment approaches

Compensation and Benefits
