Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations for patients, assessing their physical abilities and developing tailored treatment plans that facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities, ensuring they understand proper techniques to promote healing and independence.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, including treatment modifications and goal attainment, while effectively communicating updates to the healthcare team.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as doctors and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure a cohesive and effective treatment strategy for each patient.
  • Adhere to established clinical policies, including safety and infection control procedures, to maintain a secure treatment environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and self-care techniques to minimize the risk of re-injury.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and national regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality and data integrity.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work predominantly with adult and geriatric populations experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. Patients may include those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, or rehabilitation post-stroke. Our center's focus is on empowering patients—helping them regain independence, improve their physical function, and achieve their health and wellness goals.

Qualifications
  • Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is required to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred.
