Work Environment

This position is onsite at our cutting-edge rehabilitation facility, where you will be working closely with a small, collaborative team comprised of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and goals, ensuring that each treatment plan is personalized and evidence-based.
  • Managing a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing consistent and focused attention to each individual's rehabilitation journey.
  • Designing and implementing effective care plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including strength training, manual therapy, and rehabilitation exercises.
  • Encouraging positive outcomes by educating patients on strategies to enhance their mobility and manage their conditions without relying solely on prescription medications.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care and continuity across different treatment modalities.
  • Monitoring patient progress, documenting treatment results, and adjusting therapies as needed to meet evolving patient goals.
  • Inspiring and motivating patients by promoting an active lifestyle and wellness-oriented strategies as part of their recovery process.
  • Providing training and education to patients and their families about injury prevention and post-rehabilitation practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing rehabilitation following surgery, and patients managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. As a Senior Physical Therapist, your expertise will be instrumental in guiding each patient through their unique recovery journey, ensuring they receive the highest standard of personalized care and support.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • A valid state Physical Therapist License without any disciplinary actions.
  • Solid manual therapy skills combined with a deep understanding of rehabilitation principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, exemplified by experience with tools such as WebPT.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience in an orthopedic outpatient care setting, with a proven track record of successfully implementing rehabilitation programs that improve patient mobility and quality of life. Experience with sports rehabilitation is highly regarded and aligns well with our facility's focus on athletic recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
