Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient evaluations that assess physical function, movement, and pain levels to develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Work in conjunction with MDs, OTs, and DCs to implement a 360-degree patient care model, ensuring that all aspects of the patient's rehabilitation journey are addressed.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and therapeutic modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques.
- Deliver educational sessions to patients regarding injury prevention strategies and provide at-home exercise guidance to facilitate ongoing recovery.
- Document patient progress meticulously using our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring timely updates and accurate recordkeeping.
- Participate actively in clinical case conferences and workshops, contributing to ongoing clinical education and best practices in patient care.
Your primary focus will be treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This role offers the chance to affect change in patients' lives directly, guiding them through their rehabilitation process and supporting their return to optimal function.
Qualifications- Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of New Jersey or possess the eligibility to obtain one.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
- Strong clinical reasoning abilities and manual therapy skills are essential for success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare team environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, though motivated new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Additional certifications such as dry needling, manual therapy, or sports rehabilitation will be considered an asset.
- A strong interest in mentorship or clinical education is desirable.
