Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring that each patient receives dedicated attention and intervention.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic care to assess, diagnose, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients primarily dealing with musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and cost-effective treatments to optimize patients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options and emphasize wellness, reducing reliance on pharmacological interventions.
• Design and oversee customized fitness and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual health requirements.
• Monitor patient progress through continuous assessment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately using EMR software, preferably Web PT, to ensure streamlined communication and continuity of care.
• Encourage and motivate patients to adhere to their treatment protocols through compassionate care and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our patient demographics range from active individuals to seniors seeking to enhance their mobility and overall quality of life. Your role is integral in helping these clients develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance through a customized approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions or sanctions against it.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and methodologies.
• Strong background in developing and implementing effective exercise programs for diverse populations.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, especially Web PT, for accurate record-keeping.
• Commitment to staying updated on the latest evidence-based physical therapy techniques and practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of sports medicine and injury prevention strategies will be an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
