Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough evaluation and assessment of patients recovering from various conditions, injuries, or surgeries, to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer treatments through various methods including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and adaptive equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient progress and treatment plans, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, caregivers, and referring physicians to ensure coordinated care and set achievable therapeutic goals.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and modify treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their support systems on exercises, equipment usage, and techniques to promote independence and self-management in their rehabilitation processes.
• Actively participate in continuing education workshops and training to maintain current knowledge in physical therapy methods and advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida, or eligibility to obtain licensure.

• Solid computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records.
