Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, mobility, and functional capabilities to inform treatment strategies.
• Create and implement personalized rehabilitation plans that address both short-term recovery goals and long-term health objectives.
• Guide and instruct patients through therapeutic exercises tailored to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, improve function, and support the body's natural healing processes.
• Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans and methods as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document and maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population in our orthopedic outpatient office includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with diverse patients ranging from athletes seeking to optimize their performance post-injury to older adults looking to regain mobility and independence. This role requires a compassionate approach to understand each patient's unique challenges and provide tailored care that promotes their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing is essential for this role.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar physical therapy setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software for effective patient management.
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.

Preferred Experience
