Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of each patient through reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to establish individualized treatment plans.
  • Communicating evaluation findings clearly to patients and their families, engaging them in goal-setting processes to enhance their recovery journey.
  • Executing treatment protocols derived from evaluation findings, adjusting as necessary based on patients' progress and changes in condition.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to design integrated care solutions, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's treatment are effectively addressed.
  • Documenting treatment sessions accurately and timely, including progress notes and discharge plans to provide a clear and comprehensive record of patient care.
  • Managing time effectively to meet departmental productivity standards while accommodating flexible scheduling for patients.
  • Leading discharge planning efforts and coordinating follow-up care with stakeholders involved in the patient's treatment.
  • Participating actively in departmental meetings and marketing initiatives to promote awareness of our services within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your role will involve tailoring treatment plans to each patient's specific needs, respecting their unique circumstances and backgrounds. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Active and valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia, compliant with state regulations.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
  • A passion for patient care and a commitment to professional ethics and integrity.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, we welcome recent graduates with a strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices. Compensation and Benefits
