Job Title: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Brunswick, GA
Schedule:


Monday – Thursday | 8:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Range: $24.26 – $36.29 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000


Job Overview


We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a collaborative imaging team in Brunswick, Georgia. This position is ideal for a technologist who is passionate about patient care, produces high-quality diagnostic images, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


The X-Ray Technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging quality standards, and work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses.


Responsibilities


Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established department protocols.
Position patients appropriately and operate imaging equipment safely to obtain high-quality images.
Explain procedures to patients and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
Verify patient identity, review imaging orders, and obtain relevant medical history.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
Accurately document procedures, patient information, and required billing charges.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to department leadership.
Maintain competency and complete required continuing education and department training requirements.
Assist with patient transport and departmental workflow as needed.


Qualifications


Education


Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.


Experience


One to two years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
Licensure & Certifications


ARRT Certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required within 12 months of hire.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.


Skills & Knowledge


Strong radiographic imaging and patient positioning skills.
Knowledge of radiation safety principles and imaging best practices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical terminology.
