What You'll Do

  • Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
  • Process and prepare clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing
  • Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling in the patient's presence
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while adhering to established protocols
  • Provide exceptional patient care and foster a safe, professional environment
  • Travel between patient service centers and physician office locations as needed
  • Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Keyboard and data entry experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel between locations as needed
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, if applicable
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
