What You'll Do
- Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
- Process and prepare clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing
- Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling in the patient's presence
- Maintain accurate records and documentation while adhering to established protocols
- Provide exceptional patient care and foster a safe, professional environment
- Travel between patient service centers and physician office locations as needed
- Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Promote a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Keyboard and data entry experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Reliable transportation with flexibility to travel between locations as needed
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, if applicable
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
