Systems Engineer

Software Integration EngineerRequired qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience integrating software products within complex system-of-systems environments. Experience in administering, maintaining, and supporting Linux-based systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9. Experience in supporting containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in a microservices architecture. Experience with systems administration, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices. Experience supporting enterprise Java application environments, including Apache Tomcat, Java SE (JRE/JDK), and related middleware. Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab. Certifications: Security+ CEResponsibilities: Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise Java applications running on Apache Tomcat. Support application build, packaging, deployment, and release activities using Apache Ant and Gradle build tools. Administer and support application deployments in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9 and Microsoft Windows Server environments. Support CI/CD pipeline administration and application deployments using Jenkins and GitLab. Support enterprise storage, networking, and system connectivity required for application hosting and operations. Monitor application and system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure system availability, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with software developers, systems administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and test teams to support application deployment, sustainment, and operational readiness.
