Proficiency in using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for design and documentation. Knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.Master's degree in Mechanical EngineeringFamiliarity with environmental testing standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810) and EMI/RFI shielding principlesExperience designing mechanical solutions for military, aerospace, or other harsh environment applicationsKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and their implications for hardware designFamiliarity with TEMPEST requirements or other security-related design considerationsExperience with data center cooling or high-performance computing thermal managementUnderstanding of cable management best practices for secure environmentsMust have a current and active SecretThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
