You'll manage invoicing, track payments, and partner with internal teams and external clients to resolve questions. You'll also help maintain financial records that support smooth operations across our business.This is a hybrid role, with flexibility for work-from-home on certain days.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and send customer invoices; apply cash receipts and credits accuratelyMonitor AR aging; follow up on past-due balances with friendly, professional outreachReview, code, and process vendor bills and employee reimbursementsSchedule and track payments; maintain clean vendor and customer recordsReconcile bank, credit card, AR, and AP accounts on a regular cadenceResearch and resolve billing or payment discrepancies with internal teams and clients/vendorsMaintain organized documentation and audit trails for all transactionsSupport month-end close tasks and assist with year-end prepBuild simple weekly dashboards for cash, AR aging, and AP status in Sheets or ExcelHelp track department budgets and note basic variances for reviewAssist with collecting assumptions and updating forecast templatesFollow internal controls and compliance requirements, including approvals and policy checksKeep SOPs and checklists up to date; suggest small process improvementsCommunicate clearly and courteously with teammates, vendors, and clients across Colorfuel's companiesWho You AreEarly-career finance professional who's organized, curious, and hungry to learnDetail-oriented with strong follow-through; you double-check numbers and meet deadlinesClear, friendly communicator who builds trust with teammates, vendors, and clientsComfortable in Excel or Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, basic formulas) and open to learning new toolsFamiliar with basic accounting concepts (debits/credits, AR/AP, reconciliations)Problem solver who can spot issues, ask good questions, and suggest practical fixesAble to manage multiple tasks, keep tidy documentation, and protect confidential informationTeam player who reflects our Credo of caring for each other and providing great serviceEducation & QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience; internships and relevant coursework are greatStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skillsNice to have: experience with an accounting system (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)Perks & BenefitsSalary ranges between $50,000–$60,000 based on experience and qualifications.As a full-time employee, you will have access to the following benefits:Health, dental, and disability insurance401(k) with company contributionsFlexible schedulePaid time off + paid holidaysA passionate team that values creativity, kindness, and showing up for each otherWe're Better Together.At Colorfuel, we know our best work happens when we support each other—including keeping the numbers in order.
