Accounting ManagerAs the Accounting Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the accounting department while helping build scalable processes to support our continued growth. Reporting to the Controller, you will oversee the monthly close, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities while ensuring compliance with GAAP and multi-state regulations. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Reno, Nevada.SendCutSend is an on-demand manufacturing company specializing in custom sheet metal and CNC machining. If you're excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoAssist the Controller in managing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.Train, mentor, and assist with providing performance evaluations for all accounting staff.Ensure all financial operations comply with multi-state, and federal laws, as well as GAAP standardsPrepare, review, and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Lead the prompt and accurate execution of month-end and year-end closing processes.Organize internal data and act as the secondary point of contact for external auditors during year-end reviews.Collaborate with the Controller to develop and implement financial strategies and forecasts.Develop, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls to protect company assets and mitigate financial risk.Evaluate existing procedures to recommend or implement more efficient solutions.Support ERP implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Experience overseeing payroll, multi-state sales and use tax compliance, and financial reporting.High proficiency in ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Google Workspace is a plus.Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and clear communication skills.Polished interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is preferred but not required.Preferred QualificationsCPA or CMA designationExperience implementing or working in NetSuiteExperience in a manufacturing or inventory-based environmentAdvanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including 3+ years of supervisory experienceEssential Physical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while performing work dutiesAbility to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printersHigh level of cognitive skills for financial analysisFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing, operating a 10-key, and utilizing other office machinesClarity of vision to read complex spreadsheets, analyze data on multiple screens, and visually inspect documentsAbility to hear and speak clearly for in-person meetings and phone callsWork EnvironmentThis role works across office environments in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires communication, organization, and coordination across teams in the organizationBenefitsHealth, Vision & Dental Insurance401(k) match up to 4%Paid time off6 Company-Paid HolidaysTuition ReimbursementPaid Parental LeaveShort-Term DisabilityLunch Provided DailyEmployee Discounts!Flexible Schedule for Work/Life Balance
