This role will manage a small accounting team, oversee the monthly close process, maintain strong internal controls, and deliver accurate financial reporting.Overview of the Accounting Manager Role:Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.Maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls and financial processes.Manage inventory accounting, including physical inventory reconciliations and general ledger tie-outs.Perform and review floor plan reconciliations.Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.Partner with executive leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager Role:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered).3+ years of accounting leadership or controller experience managing a small team.Experience within a dealership, distribution, manufacturing, or other inventory-intensive environment strongly preferred.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.Experience with ERP systems; QuickBooks experience is a plus.Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a collaborative, hands-on environment.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (or 7:30 AM-4:30 PM), with the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 AM-Noon
