Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization, is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and help strengthen the organization's mission through sound financial management.Compensation & BenefitsOpportunity to work for an organization making a positive impact in the communityRetirement contribution, full healthcare benefits, and lots of paid holidays!Salary range: $75,000-85,000ResponsibilitiesAssist with month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and review financial statements and supporting schedulesMaintain the general ledger and oversee reconciliationsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reportingAssist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditorsEnsure compliance with GAAP, grant requirements, and internal controlsReview accounting transactions and support AP, AR, and payroll processesProvide guidance and support to the accounting teamQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of progressive accounting experienceExperience with month-end close and financial reportingDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
