<p>About the Opportunity:<br>• Job Title: Manufacturing Associate<br>• Pay Rate: $21.00/hr<br>• Location: Lester Prairie, MN<br>• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM<br>• Overtime Required: Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM. <br>• Position Type: Temp to Hire<br><br>Requirements and Qualifications:<br>• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively for 8-10 hours a day.<br>• Ability to frequent standing/walking /stooping/turning while carrying materials.<br>• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.<br>• 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.<br>• Ability to read a tape measure required.<br>• Good organizational skills.<br>• Good communication skills.<br>• Detail oriented.<br>• Ability to operate a computer is a plus.<br>• Must be a team player.<br><br>Duties and Responsibilities:<br>• Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measure.<br>• Operate Radial Arm Saw.<br>• Manually stack wood as it comes off the machine.<br>• Assist with finger joiner-tape measure and stack.<br>• Properly package and handle incoming/outgoing orders.<br>• Responsible for performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventory.<br>• Tracking past due backorders verses incoming material.<br>• Unload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and required.<br>• Work in other areas of the plant as business allows.<br>• Keeping area clean.<br>• Other duties as assigned.<br><br>Discover Award Staffing: <br>At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck—it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
