About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Information Technology Services to provide strategic leadership in the areas of technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI readiness. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a university-wide IT strategic plan that aligns with institutional priorities, serving as the principal advisor on technology and digital transformation, and ensuring the responsible adoption of emerging technologies. This role also involves supervising IT staff, managing budgets, and establishing performance measures to continuously improve IT service delivery. The Executive Director will be a key figure in promoting innovation and will be expected to lead institutional data governance and AI initiatives. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 6 years' professional experience in a related field, and the ability to communicate in American Sign Language. A Master’s degree and experience in a higher education setting are preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a deep understanding of higher education compliance requirements, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale technology initiatives. The role requires a leader who can ensure the security and effectiveness of the institution's technology programs, and who is committed to fostering a culture of safety and belonging on campus.
