CNA Home Health Aide Part-Time

Job Description

Duties Include but not limited to:

• Helping patient with daily functions, such as dressing or taking a bath and toileting care
• Housekeeping, such as vacuuming or doing laundry
• Grocery shopping and cooking meals
• Taking patients' vital signs/giving them medication reminders
• Scheduling doctor's appointments or other meetings and organizing transportation
• Recording and reporting to nurses about the patient's health status
• Teaching patient self-care skills

Qualifications:

• Current and valid CNA, GNA or HHA certification
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Strong patient service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to carefully follow protocols and rules regarding the patient's care
• Ability to address minor medical issues
• Availability to work every other weekend if needed
• Must be able to stay past the end of a shift if needed
• Current negative PPD
• Able to pass a background check
• Must have current CPR certification or able to take class within one week of hire

Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
