Enzyme Technology | Food Safety & Industrial Hygiene
Position Overview
We are partnering with a growing international biotechnology company that specializes in innovative enzyme-based solutions for cleaning, hygiene, biofilm control, and contamination prevention.
The company’s technology provides an alternative to traditional chemical cleaning approaches, helping customers address difficult sanitation and contamination challenges through solutions that can improve cleaning effectiveness while supporting safer, more sustainable operations.
We are seeking an early-career scientist with a strong personality and an interest in transitioning into technical sales and business development. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related life science who enjoys interacting with people and wants a career that combines science, customer relationships, and hands-on field work.
What You’ll Do
What We’re Looking For
You Don’t Need Traditional Sales Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated strong people skills outside of a traditional scientific environment. Experience in hospitality, bartending, serving, retail, campus leadership, athletics, customer service, or other highly interpersonal roles can be a major plus.
If you have the scientific foundation but have always been the person who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and explaining things to others, this could be an opportunity to turn those strengths into a career.
Why This Opportunity?
Rather than beginning your career exclusively at the laboratory bench, this position offers the opportunity to apply your scientific education directly in the field. You’ll gain exposure to customers, technical problem-solving, commercial strategy, and an emerging area of enzyme technology while learning from an experienced international team.
For the right candidate, this role can provide a foundation for a long-term career in technical sales and business development within biotechnology, food safety, sanitation, and industrial applications.
