Sanford Health is seeking a BE/BC Hematology/Oncology physician to join an established Cancer Center & Research Program at Marshfield Medical Center in Weston and Stevens Point, Wisconsin. - Established Cancer Center & Research Program
- Clinics are integrated at all locations with regularly scheduled provider meetings, physician advisory boards, tumor boards, and other collaborations
- Full range oncology practice including outpatient infusion center, inpatient capability
- Strong research program and support of clinical trials with dedicated Research RNs and coordinators
- Radiation Oncology support onsite, Dedicated Pathology and Radiology support
Responsibilities
- Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients adolescence to adult with all types of cancer and other benign and malignant tumors
- Be involved in medical education and research
Compensation
- 2-year salary floor of $700,000, depending on location, for a 1.0 FTE
- Up to $150,000 retention incentive, if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years (subject to a contractual agreement)

Requirements
- H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
- BE/BC Hematology/Oncology physician
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Experience can be demonstrated by a fellowship log (for recent fellows) or a quality profile from current hospitals showing clinical activity for the last 12 months (for non-fellows)
- Demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services for at least 50 patients in the last 12 months (for non-fellows)
- Demonstrate active involvement in the care of 50 patients in clinical practice in the last 12 months (if quality profile is not available)
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program
- Completion of a Hematology or Oncology fellowship or integrated Hematology and Medical Oncology Program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- Achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training (if not board certified at time of application)
