SUPV MILITARY PAY TECHNICIAN

Serves as a Supervisory Military Pay Technician with responsibility for managing a work unit performing technical military pay support activities that facilitate the mission of the US Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM).

Assigns work to subordinate employees based on immediate priorities, workload, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.

Reviews work for technical adequacy and compliance with established policies, procedures, and deadlines. Provides advice, guidance, and instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.

Interviews candidates for vacant positions; recommends hiring, promotion, reassignment, or separation of employees.

Hears and resolves minor employee complaints, referring more serious unresolved complaints to higher-level supervisor; takes minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings, reprimands, and recommends more severe disciplinary action.

Responsible and accountable for establishing and maintaining internal processes and administrative, technical, and automated systems' controls.

Accountable for maintaining a system of procedural controls to ensure the integrity of internal records of any financial accounting transactions.
