This position supports the Business Development team by helping strengthen Select Employer Group (SEG) partnerships through relationship building, financial wellness delivery, business development support, and exceptional service.

You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members:

  • Support assigned Select Employer Groups (SEGs) by assisting with sales, education, and engagement activities.
  • Serve as a key liaison between SEG employees and Elements, helping connect members with products, services, and resources that support financial success.
  • Participate in delivering financial wellness classes, orientations, table events and Financial Wellness Review days.
  • Develop expertise in Elements financial wellness curriculum, products, and services to effectively identify member needs.
  • Support Relationship Managers in achieving measurable results related to member growth, loan growth, deposit growth, product utilization, and employee engagement.
  • Proactively complete outbound sales calls for member follow-up and acquisition of new business.
  • Effectively transform service issues into sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and innovative ways to serve SEG partners.


You will make a difference as you live out our purpose:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with SEG employees.
  • Ensure timely follow-through on member and partner inquiries resulting from onsite visits, presentations, and events.
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer members to the appropriate credit union departments for fulfillment.
  • Utilize CRM and other business development tools to document activities, maintain records, and manage follow-up opportunities.
  • Support Relationship Managers in providing a partnership-focused experience for SEG contacts.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional service to both members and teammates.


You will help grow the business:

  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Business Development leadership to support SEG growth initiatives.
  • Assist in driving membership, loan, deposit, and product growth opportunities within assigned SEG relationships.
  • Engage at employer events and activities to increase employee participation and awareness.
  • Participate in Business Development team meetings and apply best practices to support team goals.
  • Contribute to the recognition of Elements as a premier financial institution of choice within our communities and SEG partnerships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Continue to develop knowledge of business development, relationship management, financial wellness, and credit union operations.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, training programs, and industry education.
  • Build presentation, public speaking, networking, and consultative sales skills.
  • Participate in community and professional networking events to expand business development experience.
  • Seek opportunities to grow toward a future Relationship Manager role.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • One to three years of experience in sales, customer service, business development, banking, marketing, or relationship management preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information to individuals and groups.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and contribute to growth initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to leverage skills, knowledge, and experience to invest in our community.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive environment that promotes belonging.
  • A focus on respect and excellent service to both external and internal (team) members.
  • A proven track record of integrity with a demonstrated ability to build trust.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • Must be registered or meet registration requirements with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Registry with an active NMLS License ID.
