We are currently looking for an experienced commercial carpenter/ crew foreman to assist managing job sites, a crew of laborers, or managing subcontractors. We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Commercial Carpenter / Crew Foreman to join our team at Elk River Development, located in the Warrenton area. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of commercial carpentry experience, a strong handyman/construction background, and the ability to confidently lead a crew while maintaining excellent communication with customers, employees, and management.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate a small construction/carpentry crew
- Schedule and organize jobs efficiently
- Visit and inspect job sites
- Communicate clearly with customers, crew members, and management
- Assess job requirements, and help keep projects on schedule
- Perform commercial carpentry, repairs, installations, and general handyman work
- Identify issues in the field and help find practical solutions
- Maintain a safe, professional, and productive job site
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
- Strong handyman or general construction background
- Previous crew lead or foreman experience is a plus
- Natural leadership skills and a take-charge attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to schedule work and manage multiple job sites
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently while also leading a team

You’re someone who takes ownership, communicates well, leads by example, and knows how to get the job done right. You should be comfortable working with your hands, managing a crew, interacting with customers, and moving between job sites as needed.
