Human Resources Intern

The Human Resources Intern will provide hands-on support across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, employee engagement, compliance, and training initiatives. This role offers exposure to core HR processes while contributing to projects that enhance employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition Support
  • Assist with job postings, applicant tracking, and candidate communication
  • Support interview scheduling and onboarding coordination
  • Help update and format job descriptions to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain recruitment documentation and ensure data accuracy within HR systems
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Assist with document management and compliance tracking
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with confidentiality and data privacy standards
  • Support policy review, formatting, and updates
  • Participate in HR audits and compliance reviews
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Support employee recognition initiatives and culture-building activities
  • Assist with internal HR communications and engagement efforts
  • Learning & Development Support
  • Help create and update training materials and development resources
  • Support coordination of learning initiatives and internal development programs

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent or better.
  • Preferred: Currently Enrolled in College or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.

Experience:

  • Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or related field
  • Preferred: Less than 2 years: Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems. Interest in data analytics or employee experience Less than 2 years: Internship or work experience in an office environment
