We're looking for a Director of Nursing who leads with heart and holds our values close: <strong>belonging, celebration, empowerment, and the unique skills each person brings to our team.</strong></p><p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Be the clinical heartbeat of our home care team — leading assessments, care planning, and skilled nursing with warmth and precision</li><li>Build real relationships with clients, families, and physicians so every person feels seen and supported</li><li>Lead, mentor, and empower our direct care staff (CNAs, PCAs) — recruiting, training, and helping them grow into their strengths</li><li>Ensure every client's care plan reflects who they are, not just what they need</li><li>Keep us compliant and excellent — navigating state and federal home care regulations with confidence</li><li>Champion a culture where staff and clients alike feel they belong</li></ul><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Clinical nursing expertise and home care leadership experience</li><li>A belief that aging is something to celebrate, not just manage</li><li>The ability to build trust — with clients, families, and your team</li><li>Strong organizational skills and comfort with regulatory detail</li><li>A collaborative spirit and genuine care for the people you lead</li></ul><p>If you're energized by helping older adults live fully and by building a team where everyone's unique gifts matter, we'd love to meet you.</p><p> </p> <br>Qualifications <br><p><strong>Basic Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Must have Colorado Registered Nursing License, in good standing. </li><li>Current CPR certification.</li><li>Strong knowledge of governmental home health regulations. </li><li>Home Care Administrator certification or able to obtain certification in the first 90 days. </li><li>A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the senior health care environment.</li><li>Experience in a staffing or scheduling position, preferably in a Senior Living and or Home Care setting preferred.</li><li>Minimum 1 year experience supervising direct reports preferred.</li><li>Must have current Colorado driver's license in good standing. </li><li>Must have excellent customer service, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Must be flexible and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.</li><li>Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements </strong></p><ul><li>Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.</li><li>Exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible</li><li>Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.</li><li>May be subject to frequent interruptions.</li><li>Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.</li></ul> <br>Additional Information <br><p>If you are considering a position at Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions, we have a wide range of benefits to consider!
