COTA or PTA with Admissions Marketing

The admissions liaison is responsible for effective coordination of admissions to the inpatient rehab unit.

• Coordinate an effective, efficient admissions process for all patients.
• Receive referrals, gather and verify pertinent information, and complete necessary procedures to schedule and admit inpatients to the rehab units.
• Maintain knowledge of current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance company reimbursement.
• Follows organizational and hospital policies and procedures.
• Assists in completion of non-clinical information on the pre-admission screens for rehab.
• Performs other duties as requested.
• Effectively markets rehab programs to internal and external referral sources

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Must have a college degree in marketing or business.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in admissions department preferred
• Strong understanding of current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement for inpatient rehab preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers, software and a variety of office equipment.
