What you will do:

The Systems Administrator will support both Procurement and Learning & Development systems. This role is responsible for administering, configuring, maintaining, securing, and supporting the Procurement systems, learning technologies and related business systems. This role ensures reliable system performance, timely issue resolution, strong security controls, and effective support for employees and business operations.

TheSystems Administrator adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.

A day in your life might include:

  • Administer the Procurement System, Learning Management System and other learning platforms, including routine maintenance, reporting, user support, and updates.
  • Review monitoring dashboards, system logs, ticket queues, and security alerts at the start of each shift.
  • Respond to user support requests related to access, workstation connectivity, file shares, applications, and system availability.
  • Create, modify, disable, and audit user accounts and permissions in accordance with onboarding, offboarding, and access review processes.
  • Check backup job status, investigate failures, perform restore validations, and document completed recovery tasks.
  • Perform routine patch deployment, software updates, certificate renewals, and system configuration changes.
  • Troubleshoot network, storage, cloud, and endpoint issues using structured diagnostic methods.
  • Coordinate with security, networking, application, Procurement, Learning and Development, Finance and Vendor Management on incidents, upgrades, audits, and infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain inventory records, license information, configuration documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Participate in change reviews, incident postmortems, and service improvement discussions.
  • Monitor system health, performance, capacity, availability, and security alerts; respond quickly to outages or service degradation.
  • Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, incident resolutions, and recurring support processes.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users, IT peers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to infrastructure reliability, automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

What weneed from you:

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Coursework or training in enterprise systems, accounting, procurement operations, database/reporting tools, business process management, and internal controls is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus, such as:
    • Coupa Procure-to-Pay System Administrator certification
    • Workday Pro Procure-to-Pay Certification or Workday Pro Platform Administrator Certification
    • SAP training or certification

Experience Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience supporting, administering, or configuring enterprise procurement, ERP, finance, or procure-to-pay systems.
  • Experience with multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS) such as, Eloomi, SkillSoft, Cornerstone, CPD Online, Taleo, and Blackboard.
  • Experience with Procure-to-pay systems such as Coupa, Workday Financial Management, SAP, Oracle, SAP Concur, Great Plains, Prophix, or similar financial/procurement platforms.
  • Hands-on experience supporting procure-to-pay processes, including:
    • Requisitions, POs, Supplier/vendor records, Contracts, Receiving, Invoice processing, Approval workflows, Payment support, Procurement policy compliance
  • Experience configuring and maintaining:
    • User access, roles, permissions, and security groups
    • Approval chains and workflow routing
    • Supplier and vendor master data
    • Commodity/category structures
    • Custom fields, forms, dashboards, and reporting views
    • System-wide financial or procurement configuration
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues, resolving user inquiries, escalating technical defects, and coordinating with IT, vendors, consultants, finance, procurement, and audit teams.
  • Experience with integrations, including flat-file imports/exports, APIs, data mapping, testing, and monitoring integration failures.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics, including creating standard/ad hoc reports, dashboards, KPIs, audit reports, and data-quality checks.
  • Familiarity with finance, accounting, procurement, and internal control concepts, including segregation of duties, audit support, approval compliance, vendor data integrity, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience documenting procedures, creating job aids, supporting release updates, conducting user training, and recommending process improvements.
  • Systems Administration: Strong knowledge of server operating systems, directory services, storage, patching, and configuration management.
  • Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, or comparable platforms.
  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to diagnose root causes, restore service, communicate status, and prevent recurrence.
  • Documentation and Process Discipline: Commitment to accurate runbooks, change records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users and provide responsive, professional support.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with IT, security, vendors, and business teams to deliver stable and scalable technology services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifies opportunities to improve uptime, performance, security, automation, and user experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in procurement operations and/or learning and development systems support.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, vendor management, contract management, and spend analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting/query tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Workday reporting, SAP reporting, or ERP-native analytics.
  • Experience supporting audits, internal controls, SOX-style controls, or compliance reviews.
  • Ability to translate business needs into system configuration, workflow design, reporting requirements, and process improvements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and project-management skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. Please Note: The budget for this role is $80k-$95k/yr.

  • Salary: Min. $73,800 – Max. $118,000
