This position offers a stable weekday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in post-anesthesia care and a commitment to ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.</li> <li>Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the recovery process.</li> <li>Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.</li> <li>Administer medications and treatments as ordered.</li> <li>Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions.</li> <li>Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members.</li> <li>Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.</li> <li>Promote a safe, patient-centered environment throughout the recovery phase.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license.</li> <li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications.</li> <li>PACU, Critical Care, ED, or Perioperative nursing experience preferred.</li> <li>Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and patient education abilities.</li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting.</li></ul><h2>Position Highlights</h2><p> Monday–Friday schedule<br /> Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM<br /> No weekends<br /> No major holidays<br /> Supportive surgical team environment<br /> Ambulatory Surgery Center setting<br /> Competitive compensation and benefits package<br /><br />#ITN1</p></div>Pandologic.
