LOCATION: Interprint, Inc. 101 Central Berkshire Blvd. Pittsfield, MA SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $80,000 HOURS: This is an onsite position scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including a 1-hour lunch break. JOIN OUR TEAM: We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide broad HR support across benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, HR reporting, policy communication, and compliance-related processes. This role partners closely with employees, management, and the HR Manager to support effective HR programs, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive employee experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Administer company-sponsored benefit programs, including employee communications, required documentation, Open Enrollment support, insurance renewal data preparation, and 401(k) change processing. * Serve as a primary point of contact for routine employee questions and concerns, providing guidance and escalating matters as appropriate. * Support employee relations matters by responding to employee concerns, assisting with workplace investigations, documenting and maintaining appropriate records, providing guidance to managers and employees, and escalating sensitive or complex matters as appropriate. * Support HR compliance activities, audit preparation, recordkeeping, and required documentation. * Prepare HR reports by compiling, reviewing, and analyzing wage, personnel, and other recurring HR-related data. * Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding for direct hires and associates transitioning to full-time employment. * Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, procedures, and practices. * Provide backup support for leave of absence administration, including MA PFML, FMLA, ADA, STD, and LTD; employee communications, documentation, tracking, follow-up, and coordination with applicable agencies and third-party providers. * Provide backup support for recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate communication, reference checks, interviews, and pre-employment processes. * Provide payroll transition support by responding to routine employee questions and escalating payroll-related matters as appropriate. * Coordinate administrative support for company-wide employee events and HR-sponsored activities. * Maintain accurate HR databases, employee files, and HR-related records; process employment verification requests, department billing approvals, and other HR administrative activities and initiatives. * Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and the overall employee experience. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. * 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required. * PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. * Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, employee relations, benefits administration, leave of absence processes, recruitment, and HR policies and practices. * Experience supporting employee relations matters, including employee concerns, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and appropriate documentation. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers at all levels. * Excellent organization, time management, follow-through, accuracy, and attention to detail. * Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and HR-related information. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and provide responsive support to employees, managers, and department initiatives. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, including intermediate Excel skills. * Paylocity experience preferred.
