Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Kentucky Ongoing and Easy Airport AccessAn acute care hospital is urgently seeking a part-time Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice Provider to provide critical coverage due to a provider leave. You will join an established team of three cardiac surgeons and three PAs.Assignment Overview Start Date: ASAP (ongoing) Schedule Options: Day shifts (OR/Clinic, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM), weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call. Volume: Estimated 8 shifts per month. Call Responsibilities: First call; weekend call includes rounding at two local affiliated facilities. Patient Scope: 100% Adult. EMR: EpicClinical Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years required. Skills & Procedures: Vein harvesting, hybrid ablations, and bread-and-butter CT surgery. First assisting surgeons in the OR. Certifications: ACLS required. Credentials: APP (DNP, NP, PA). Board certification and active state license are not required to apply.Travel & Logistics Privileging: Temporary and full privileges are available to expedite onboarding.
