Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer – Mechanical to design, develop, and implement equipment and support systems for a foundry environment. This role will manage projects from concept through installation while working closely with maintenance, production, engineering teams, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Design mechanical equipment, components, and support systems.

Create mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings using CAD and 3D modeling software.

Manage projects from design through procurement, fabrication, installation, and completion.

Develop project budgets and monitor costs.

Support equipment improvements, modifications, and new installations.

Collaborate with maintenance, production, engineering teams, and external vendors.

Travel to company facilities as needed, up to 5%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Strong CAD and 3D modelling experience; Autodesk Inventor preferred.

Knowledge of mechanical components, motors, bearings, drives, cylinders, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Manufacturing, foundry, or heavy industrial experience preferred.
