SVP, Finance (Infrastructure Construction)
Overview:
Travel: Up to 50% travel is required to provide on-site leadership, strengthen business partnerships, and support operations across a geographically diverse Infrastructure organization.

Responsibilities:Strategic & Executive Leadership
- Serve as a core member of the CE&I finance leadership team.
- Participate in I&I Group strategy development and execution.
- Provide financial insights to drive disciplined capital allocation and business performance.
- Partner closely with operational leaders to improve financial transparency and accountability.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting, and operating reviews.
- Oversee timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting.
- Ensure proper implementation of accounting policies and evolving internal controls.
- Maintain compliance with SOX and technical accounting standards.
- Oversee revenue recognition processes, particularly percentage-of-completion accounting for construction contracts.
Project Controls & Risk Management
- Drive rigorous project financial management and risk mitigation processes.
- Enhance visibility into job-level profitability, cost controls, and margin performance.
- Support bid reviews and pricing decisions to improve win quality and risk-adjusted returns.
Finance Operations & Transformation
- Lead finance operations across Infrastrtucture, focusing on process redesign and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and deploy ERP systems and business enablement software solutions.
- Implement scalable systems and controls suitable for a rapidly expanding platform.
- Oversee integration of finance teams, systems, and processes following acquisitions.
Talent & Organizational Development
- Develop strategic talent planning initiatives in partnership with HR.
- Mentor and coach high-performing finance leaders across business units.
- Build strong succession plans across all key finance roles.
- Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
In the first 12 months, the successful candidate will:
- Establish credibility with Infrastructure operational leaders and CE&I executive leadership.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of project economics, systems, and reporting structures.
- Identify and prioritize critical finance transformation and integration initiatives.
- Improve forecasting reliability and project margin visibility.
- Strengthen internal controls and reporting consistency across legacy platforms.
- Provide leadership specific to change management on processes and ERP consolidation.
- Elevate talent capabilities and build a cohesive finance organization across acquired entities.
Work Experience and Education
10+ years of senior financial management experience in a large, geographically dispersed Infrastructure EPC or industrial organization.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
CPA or CA designation preferred
Experience within a large, publicly traded organization strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated success leading high-performing finance teams in complex, publicly traded and growth-oriented environments.
Experience overseeing Joint Venture operations, project-based accounting, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
Proven track record leading finance transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, and post-acquisition finance integrations.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic and operational decision-making.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Effective executive presence with outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills across all levels of the organization.
Ability to analyze complex business, financial, operational, and regulatory issues, develop practical solutions, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple priorities while maintaining disciplined project execution.
