Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to a caseload of clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders, implementing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and ensure access to necessary support services.
  • Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and family counseling to enhance coping strategies and promote healthier interpersonal relationships.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss case management strategies and continually enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
  • Track and document client progress meticulously to ensure treatment effectiveness and continuity of care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during critical incidents, ensuring client safety and stabilization.
  • Maintain compliance with professional ethical guidelines and conduct regular reviews to uphold organizational standards.
  • Offer community outreach and education, advocating for better mental health resources and creating awareness of available services.
  • Respond to on-call duties as required, helping manage after-hours crises or client emergencies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse client base, including individuals from various backgrounds facing unique challenges in their mental health journeys. Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
  • Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Kansas.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a mental health or community health setting.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in social work practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience.
