This full-time role offers the flexibility of remote work and is situated within an outpatient office setting. • Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations, implementing customized therapy strategies to address the unique needs of each client.


• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.


• Maintain up-to-date clinical records and documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.


• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions, thereby enhancing your knowledge base and skill set in the rapidly evolving field of mental health.


• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and professionals to create a holistic care plan for clients, prioritizing the integration of services to meet their needs effectively.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Palo Pinto, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.


• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.


• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting, with a proven track record of effective client engagement.


• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health counseling.


• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

• Experience and expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or expertise in addressing substance misuse will be highly regarded.


• Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to accommodate different client needs.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses.
