Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and adjust these plans as necessary based on client progress.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others, to provide therapy to individuals, groups, and families.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes case managers, psychiatrists, and other counselors to coordinate client care and enhance treatment outcomes.

  • Be prepared to provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to emergencies.

  • Engage actively in community outreach programs and educational initiatives, working to destigmatize mental health challenges and promote overall mental well-being across the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family issues. Qualifications

  • Must possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
