Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique situation.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records to ensure compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems as necessary.

  • Engage actively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to facilitate holistic care and comprehensive support for clients.

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in mental health practices through ongoing professional development and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, with a strong emphasis on providing support for those facing challenges related to trauma, substance abuse, family dynamics, and relationship issues. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work closely with a broad spectrum of individuals from various backgrounds, fostering a safe environment for them to address their mental health needs.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas.

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in both individual and group therapy within a clinical setting.

  • Proficient understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling practice.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build genuine therapeutic relationships with clients.

  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

  • Specialization in areas such as grief counseling, trauma-informed care, and addiction counseling is highly desirable.

  • Experience with various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic approaches.

  • Proven ability to manage and maintain an active caseload efficiently.

  • Annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
