Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments for new patients to identify their mental health needs, strengths, and goals, tailoring individual treatment plans accordingly.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors, healthcare team members, and clients' families to update them on individual progress and engage them in the treatment process.

  • Organize and deliver home visits, ensuring that clients receive follow-up care and support in their own environments, which enhances the therapeutic process.

  • Coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings, presenting patient updates and collaborating with colleagues to adapt treatment plans based on evolving client needs.

  • Document all progress and treatment outcomes clearly and efficiently, including monthly and quarterly notes that reflect client progress and program efficacy.

  • Provide training and support for staff members and peers on the implementation of therapeutic interventions, ensuring best practices are upheld throughout the team.

  • Act as a liaison between clients and the broader mental health community, promoting resources and support to help individuals navigate their wellness journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will encompass a diverse patient population, including both adult and youth clients, many of whom may be dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, or relationship challenges. By utilizing a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, you will help clients develop insights, coping strategies, and skills to thrive in their daily lives.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting, ideally with a clinical focus that emphasizes direct client care.

  • Strong understanding of the ethical and legal standards governing mental health practices.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

  • Specializations in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment are highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and relevant telehealth technologies to enhance the delivery of care.

  • A proven record of participating effectively in collaborative healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload responsibility.
